NEP · APAAR / ABC ID
One nation, one ID — held where it belongs.
NEP's APAAR — the 'One Nation, One Student ID' — and the Academic Bank of Credits ID follow a child across schools and years. Keep each one on the student's own record, not a side spreadsheet.
- 01
An APAAR ID per student
The Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry number has to be captured and carried for every enrolled child.
- 02
The ABC ID alongside it
The Academic Bank of Credits ID travels with the student's record into later study — it needs a permanent home now.
- 03
Right across campuses and years
These IDs are permanent: they must stay attached to the same child through promotion, transfer and a move between campuses.
- 04
Coverage you can see
When a school has thousands of students, leadership needs to know which records still have no ID — at a glance, not by scrolling.
Mapped to modules that already run.
-
01 / 05
The APAAR / ABC ID lives in the SIS. Custom fields hold each ID on the student record, session-scoped, so it sits with the rest of the child's data rather than in a separate list.
Student information system -
02 / 05
Permanent across promotion and transfer. Because the ID is on the student, not the class, it survives a move up a grade or out of a campus untouched.
Student information system -
03 / 05
Consistent across every campus. Tenant, branch and session scoping keeps one student's ID the same wherever the trust runs them — no duplicate, no drift between years.
Multi-campus & trust -
04 / 05
Pull coverage by class. A saved export template carries the ID column and groups by class and section, so you can see at a glance which students still have no ID — the gaps to fill are a pull, not a hunt.
Forms & reports -
05 / 05
Capture the IDs you already hold. Where these IDs already exist, a form per student records each onto the right child, and export templates pull them back out in the shape you need.

An honest note
APAAR and ABC IDs are generated and linked through the Government's own systems (the APAAR / Academic Bank of Credits portals). ScholaRise stores and manages them on the student record — it does not issue, verify or register them, and the registration and its accuracy remain the school's responsibility.
