  Tiles flow into clean justified rows that fill the width and respect each photo's aspect ratio — landscapes wide, portraits tall — instead of cropping everything into an identical square.

• Tags across folders

  Coloured tags cut across the folder tree — find every photo of the senior wing, or every one from the science fair, without caring which event folder it was filed under.

• Bulk upload capsules

  Drop a whole event's photos in one capsule — the date is read from the photos' own EXIF, you name the activity, and a short write-up can be polished by Sol so the set arrives captioned, not just dumped.

• Capture metadata, kept

  When a photo carries it, the moment it was taken, the camera, even where, is read on upload and stored alongside the image — so the library can sort and group by when, not just by upload order.

• Originals on demand

  The fast grid never touches the full file. When someone needs the original — for a yearbook, a print, a parent — a time-limited download link is minted for that one asset, on request.
