A child should not leave campus on a scribbled slip and a guard's good faith.
The gate at 11am
The riskiest moment in a school day is the one nobody logs: a student walking out before the bell. A paper gate slip can be forged, lost, or signed by the wrong person, and a week later no one can say who actually authorised it. ScholaRise turns that moment into a record. A student's exit begins as an approved leave; the platform mints a digital pass for the exact window, carries the approval trail with it, and the guard clears it by scanning a QR — every crossing written down, in IST, once. The barrier stops being a place where things slip through.
-
Digital passes
Every authorised exit becomes a pass, not a paper slip — a purpose, a valid-until time and a unique verification code, ready on the phone the moment it is approved.
-
Approval trail
Nobody leaves on a verbal nod. Each pass carries who authorised it and when — an approval history written down, so the answer to "who said they could go?" is never a guess.
-
QR verified at the gate
The guard scans the QR or keys the six-digit code; the pass is checked against its window in real time. A revoked, expired or out-of-hours pass simply will not clear.
-
Entry & exit log
Each scan writes a verification event — ENTRY or EXIT, stamped in IST, recorded once per day so a pass cannot be double-used. The gate keeps a clean ledger of every crossing.
-
Generated from leave
Students and parents never request a pass directly — they apply for leave. When that leave is approved, ScholaRise mints the matching gate pass automatically for the exact window.
-
Single or multi-entry
A pass knows its limits — entry-only, exit-only, or both — and how many crossings it allows. Usage is counted, so a one-time pass closes itself after it is used.
-
Verified by security
Verification is its own role at the gate. The guard who cleared the pass, the time, and any security note are kept against the record — the human at the barrier is part of the trail.
-
Time-boxed & revocable
Every pass has a hard expiry and can be cancelled before it is used. Out of its window or out of order, the scan fails closed — never the other way around.
-
01 / 04
Kept separate by campus and year. A pass belongs to one branch and one session, exactly like the rest of the platform — so a guard at one gate never sees, and never clears, a pass meant for another campus.
-
02 / 04
Born from the leave you already approved. There is no second request to chase. The leave application is the one source of truth; approve it once and the gate pass for that window writes itself — same dates, same student, same trail.
-
03 / 04
On the same web, iOS and Android apps. A coordinator approves from a phone, the parent carries the pass on theirs, and the guard scans on a third — one system at every point, no separate gate-pass app to install.
-
04 / 04
Within reach of Sol, the AI agent. The same assistant that answers across the school can read the gate log too — a quiet way to ask who left early today, not a fourth screen to learn.
Why it matters
When a child leaves campus, the school should be able to say who, when, and on whose say-so. Now it can — to the minute.
